The Barton Brothers

The Barton Brothers inherited Red Buttons' "Joe and Paul" comedy routine when Buttons was called up for World War Two military service. In 1949 they recorded it for the fledgling Apollo label which, according to Eddie Barton, sold three-quarters of a million records in a few months' time.
